This page covers the Menu-TR website, the digital QR menu service and the venue directory. It sets out how we handle your data, the rules for using the service, and how to send us a request. If you are in Türkiye, the Turkish-language version is the governing text.

Privacy Policy
1. Data we collect
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, session duration and error logs; retained for a limited period to understand traffic and usage patterns.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session management, language preference, visit statistics, and advertising / analytics cookies.
- Location data: your current position, only where you give explicit permission through your browser, for features such as “venues near me”. Not stored permanently on our servers.
- Account data: business name, contact details and menu content you provide during signup and panel use.
- Payment data: paid plans are processed by third-party providers; card details are never stored on Menu-TR servers.
- Google Sign-In (favourites): if you sign in to save favourites, the profile information Google supplies (name, e-mail, profile picture) and your list of favourites are processed.
- Reviews: if you submit a review, its text, rating, date and your account details are stored.
- Requests you send us: the text of your request, the contact detail you provide, any page link you send, and your IP address at the time of submission. Used solely to answer your request — never for marketing, never added to a mailing list, never shared for another purpose.
2. Why we process it
- To provide the digital menu service and the venue directory, keep them secure and improve performance
- To run personalised features such as favourites and reviews
- To handle account security, support and billing
- For statistical analysis and service quality measurement (anonymous / aggregated)
- To answer reports of incorrect content and data protection requests
- To meet legal obligations
- To serve advertising (Google AdSense) and the related measurement
3. Legal bases
We process data on the basis of the conclusion or performance of a contract, legitimate interest, your explicit consent, or a legal obligation. For optional features such as location, permission is requested through your browser. For advertising and analytics cookies, a consent screen is shown to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland; you can change that decision at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.
4. Who we share with
We do not sell your data. It may be shared with these kinds of processors:
- Google: Sign-In, Maps links, AdSense (advertising) and Analytics (visit statistics). These set their own cookies and transfer data to Google servers outside Türkiye. Google’s own privacy policy applies.
- Hosting and infrastructure: providers required for the website to run.
- Payments: third-party payment providers for paid plans.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (session, security), preference cookies (language) and advertising / analytics cookies.
Advertising and analytics cookies are set by Google; their lifetimes follow Google’s policies. You can block them in your browser and turn off ad personalisation in Google Ad Settings. For information and opt-out options see Google Advertising Technologies.
6. How long we keep it
Data is kept only as long as the purpose requires, with reasonable periods for statutory limitation and technical logs. You may request deletion of your favourites and review data; after an account deletion request we act within a reasonable time.
Messages sent through the form below stay in our mailbox for a reasonable period after the request is resolved. The anti-abuse record (IP address and timestamp) is deleted automatically after 24 hours.
7. Your rights
You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information about it, to have it corrected if inaccurate, to request its erasure, and to object to processing. Use the form below or write to info@menu-tr.com — we respond within 30 days at the latest.
EU / EEA and UK visitors: the GDPR and UK GDPR give you additional rights. You may receive a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (portability). Where we rely on consent (cookies, location), you may withdraw it at any time, free of charge, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. Children
The service is not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we become aware of such a case, the data is deleted.
9. Security
We apply HTTPS, access restrictions and up-to-date server measures. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure.
Terms of Use
1. The service
Menu-TR provides digital menu creation, QR display, content management and related tools for restaurants, cafés and local businesses, together with a public venue directory. Features may vary by plan.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Fees are billed periodically for the selected plan through third-party payment providers. You may cancel at any time; paid access continues until the end of the billing period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, and not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, misleading, offensive or that infringes the rights of others.
5. Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Temporary downtime may occur for maintenance or technical reasons.
6. Intellectual property
Menu-TR software, design, branding and content are the intellectual property of Menu-TR. You keep ownership of the content you upload to your own menu.
7. Directory listings
The venue directory contains publicly available business information. If a listing concerns your business and you want it corrected or removed, send a request using the form below; we handle correction and removal requests as a priority.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for business losses, data loss or indirect damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or abuse the service.
10. Changes
We may update this page. The current version is always published here. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated text.
